Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Siruseri Invites Applications for Admission into B.Sc/M.Sc Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following program for 2016. 

• 3 years integrated Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) honors in Mathematics and Computer Science
• 3 years integrated Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) honors in Mathematics and Physics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Mathematics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Applications of Mathematics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Sc Honors Programs

• 12th standard or equivalent.

For M.Sc in Mathematics Program

• B.Sc (Math)/ B.Math/ B.Stat/ B.E/ B.Tech.

For M.Sc in Computer Science Program

• B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (C.S)/ BCA or B.Sc (Math) with a strong background in CS.

For M.Sc in Applications of Mathematics Program

• B.Sc (Math/Physics/Statistics)/ B.Math/ B.Stat/ B.E/ B.Tech. 

How to Apply

• Applications for August, 2016 will open on 14^th Mar, 2016. 

Selection Procedure

• Applicants will have to take an entrance examination held in May at multiple centres across the country.
  
  
• Admissions committee may call shortlisted candidates for an interview depending on their prior academic record.

Scholarships: B.Sc (Hons.) students will receive a scholarship of Rs. 4000 per month and M.Sc students will receive a scholarship of Rs. 6000 per month.

Important Dates

• Date of submissions application form: 14^th Mar, 2016 to 15^th Apr, 2016.
• Date of entrance exam: 18^th May, 2016.
