Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into Medical Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following program under various specializations for 2016. 

• Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Postgraduate Medical degree
• Doctor of Medicine (DM)
• Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) 

Eligibility Conditions

For MBBS

• Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English (core or elective or functional) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidate).
  
  
• Candidate should be an Indian citizen and should not be less than 17 years as on the 31^st Dec, 2016.

For BDS

• Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (core or elective or functional) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidate.
• Candidate should be an Indian citizen and should not be less than 17 years as on the 31st December, 2016

For PG Medical degree

• Candidate should possess MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India and must have completed one year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 30th April 2016.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made on the basis of Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU-CET) conducted by the university. 

Last date of application

• For PG Medical Programs: 01^st Mar, 2016.
• For other Programs: 29^th Mar, 2016.

Date of IPUCET:

• For PG Medical Programs: 12^th Mar, 2016.
• For MBBS stage I: 24^th Apr, 2016.
• For BDS Prgram: 14^th May, 2016.
• For MBBS Stage II: 22^nd May, 2016.

Declaration of Results:

• For PG Medical Programs: 03^rd Mar, 2016.
• For MBBS stage I: 10^th May, 2016.
• For BDS Prgram: 31^st May, 2016.
• For MBBS Stage II: 03^rd Jun, 2016.
