Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry Invites Applications for MBBS 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 4 years and 6 months Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program for 2016. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The applicant should be an Indian national/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
  
  
• He/ she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31^st Dec, 2016, the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS, i.e. they should have been born on or before 01^st Jan, 2000
  
  
• The applicants should have passed/ appeared for HSC (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology & English/ Equivalent.

• Candidates can apply online: http://jipmer.edu.in/ from 07^th Mar, 2016.
  
  
• Application fee is Rs. 1000/- for general candidates and Rs. 800/- for SC/ST candidates and OPH candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
  
  
• Payments can be done through net banking/credit card/debit card only.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the institute.

• On-line registration opens on: 07^th Mar, 2016.
• On-line registration closes on: 04^th May, 2016.
• Date of entrance examination: 05^th Jun, 2016.
• Expected date of publication of merit list: 13^th Jun, 2016.
