Bangalore University invites application for PhD admissions 2016

Bangalore University has invited applications for admissions to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs offered in the faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Education and Engineering for the academic year 2016.

Educational Qualification:

The candidates should have acquired a post graduate degree from a recognised university or institute.

Selection procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam.

Note: The candidates who have passed UGC/UGC-CSIR-JRF/ NET/ K-SLET/KSET/GATE (during validity period with required score)/ FIP/QIP/ researchers by DST, UGC, CSIR, AICTE etc./obtained M.Phil degree through regular course work and not through distance education mode/project fellows in sponsored major research projects/foreign candidates shall be eligible for exemption from the entrance test.

Application fee:

Candidates should pay the fees of Rs. 2,000 for entrance, Rs. 1,500 for non entrance candidates for foreign nationals. The candidates can make the payment in the form of demand draft and deposited to the Finance Officer, Bangalore University.
