ICSI launches various new courses it’s for members and students

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is constituted under an Act of Parliament, i.e. the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 and is the only recognised professional body in the country, to develop and regulate the profession of company secretaries.

ICSI has launched  Four new courses for its students and members, so as to enhance and further develop their skill sets.

These courses are launched in association with National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad and the duration ranges from three months to 15 days. The new courses of ICSI are as follows:

Certificate course in Valuation:

This course has been launched as an instrument of good corporate governance, which will help students learn proper business valuation and transparency. The main objective of the programme is to build the skills of company secretaries in carrying out the valuation assignment relevant to today's business environment.

Diploma in Internal Audit:

This course is designed to develop the skills of CS to conduct internal audit including compliance and operational audits, offering solutions for weaknesses in internal controls and verifying the subjective compliance of related laws and regulations.

The registration for the same has been started and the duration of the course is three months.

E- learning Module on Banking Terminologies:

The banking industry contributes majorly in the development of Indian economy on the global platform and as there is a need to exemplify the technical banking terminologies for the professionals, this course has been launched. The registration for this has also been started.

Course in International Business Taxation:

This course will mainly focus on providing specialized knowledge regarding all aspects of the international taxation. This is a 15-day online course. The registration for the same has been started and the duration of the course is three months.
