IIIT Vadodara invites applications for admission to PhD courses 2017

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)-Vadodara has invited applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Humanities and Social Sciences, Engineering and Sciences programmes for the academic session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

For PhD in Engineering programme:

Aspiring candidates need to possess a Master of Technology (MTech)/Master of Engineering in Computer Science (CS)/Information Technology (IT)/or related areas from a recognised institute/university.  OR

Candidates should possess a degree in Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Mathematics/Computer Science and related areas.

For PhD in Science programme:

Aspiring candidates need to possess an M.Tech in Material Science/ Nano-Technology/ Applied Optics/ Engineering Physics/ Scientific Computing, Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Computer Science and related areas from a recognised institute/university.

For PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences programme:

Aspiring  candidates should possess a Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Linguistics/ English and related areas from a recognised institute/university.

Selection Procedure:

The selection is based on the performance in written exam following by interview.

Application Fee:

All the candidates need to pay Rs 1000 for each application form.
