National Institute of Technology, Agartala has invited applications for admission to PhD programme in:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Production Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
• Humanities & Social Science
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry and MBA

for the session commencing in January 2017.

Educational Qualification:

For PhD in Engineering:
Candidates should have acquired a Master's degree in engineering from a recognised university or institute.

For PhD programme in Science and PhD programme in Humanities & Social Science:
Candidates should have a Master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university or institute.

For PhD Programme in MBA:
Candidates should have an MBA degree from a recognised university or institute.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a written test and interview.
