The Alliance University has invited applications for admission to its 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in:
lateral entry to three-year B.Tech programmes at Alliance College of Engineering and Design for the academic session 2017.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification:
For B.Tech programmes:
Aspiring candidates must have passed class 12 examinations, with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with chemistry/biotechnology/biology/technical vocational subject. They must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
For Lateral entry to B.Tech programme:
Aspiring candidates must have pursued diploma or an equivalent qualification, from a recognised university or institution, with 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the final year examination (fifth and sixth semesters) in an appropriate branch of engineering.
Those who possess scores of JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced), Karnataka-CET, COMED-K, Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET), or any other state-level engineering entrance examination can also apply.
Selection procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the following two stages:
Stage 1:
Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) conducted by the Alliance College of Engineering and Design
Stage 2:
Personal interview.
