National Health Mission, Assam has invited applications for nearly 300 vacancies of Medical Officers and 24 other posts. The posts are:
- Total number of posts: 324
- Number of posts for Medical Officer: 300
- Number of posts for Clinical Psychologist: 10
- Number of posts for Assistant Engineer: 7
- Number of posts for Urban Health Coordinator: 2
- Number of posts for State Programme Coordinator NCD, ASHA Programme Manager, Zonal Engineer (Electrical), Programmer, and Training Consultant: 1
Eligibility Conditions
Educational Qualification
- For Medical Officer: The applicant must possess MBBS degree from a recognised medical college and registered with Assam Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
- For Clinical Psychologist: The applicant must have a post-graduate degree in psychology or applied psychology and a master of philosophy in medical and social psychology or masters of philosophy in medical health and social psychology obtained after the completion of full-time course of two years which includes supervised clinical training approved and recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
- For Assistant Engineer: The candidate should possess a degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE (Section-A & Section-B) in civil engineering from any recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent marks.
- The candidate should also have a minimum experience of three years in execution and supervision of construction works.
Age Limits:
- For the post of Medical Officer: The age of the candidate should be up to 62 years as on April 1, 2018.
- For the post of Clinical Psychologist: The age of the candidate should be up to 43 years as on April 1, 2018.
- For the post of Assistant Engineer: The upper age limit is 43 years as on April 1, 2018.
