Indian Navy invites applications for grant of SSC in its various branches for course starting July, 2019

The Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried male/female candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in:
- Executive Branch (logistics and Law cadre) and
From unmarried male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission, SSC in:
- Information Technology Specialisation.
For the course starting from July 2019 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala.
All the interested, eligible candidates are requested to apply through the prescribed format latest by October 5.

- SSC (Logistics) (Male or Female): 20
- SSC X (IT) (Male): 15
- SSC (Law) (Male or Female): 2
Eligibility Conditions:
- For SSC Logistics branch: Aspiring candidate must possess a degree in either of these courses BE/ BTech, MBA, BSC/ B.Com/B.Sc(IT), MCA, Bachelor of Architecture with a minimum of 60 per cent from a recognised institute or varsity.
- For SSC in IT branch: Aspiring candidates must possess qualification in either of these courses BE/BTech/ Computer Engineering, M.Sc, BSc, MTech, BCA/MCA with 60 per cent of marks.
- For SSC in Law: The interested candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in Law with 55 per cent from a recognised institute/varsity.
How to apply?
Aspiring candidates have to visit the official website i.e joinindiannavy.gov.in and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.
Selection Process:
The shortlisted candidates will be called for stage I Test (day one) and Stage II Test (four days).
- The Stage I test consists of intelligence test, picture perception and discussion test and will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB.
- The interviews will be held from November 18 to March 19. SSB interviews would be scheduled at Bangalore, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Vishakhapatnam and Kolkata.
Pay Scale:
- Sub Lieutenant (S Lt): Level 10 (Rs 56,100- Rs 1, 10,700)
- Lieutenant (Lt): Level 10B (Rs 61,300- Rs 1, 20,900)
- Lieutenant CDR (Lt Cdr): Level 11 (Rs 69,400- Rs 1, 36,900)
- Commander (Cdr): Level 12A (Rs 1, 21,200- Rs 2, 12,400)
