The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has invited application for over 120 posts of Grade A Officer and Assistant Manager.

Eligibility Conditions
Educational Qualification

For General: For this post, the applicant must possess a master's degree in any discipline or bachelor's degree in Law or bachelor's degree in engineering or chartered accountant or company secretary or chartered financial analyst or cost and work accountant.
For Legal: All the candidates interested in applying for this post need to possess a bachelor's degree in Law from a recognised institute or varsity.
For IT: The applicant must hold a degree in engineering (electrical/electronic/ electronics and communication/information technology/computer science) or masters in computers application or graduate in any discipline with post graduate qualification (minimum two years duration) in computers/ information technology.

Age Limit:
Aspiring candidate should not exceed the maximum age limit of 30 years.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a written examination followed by an interview. 'Candidates would have to secure minimum 40 per cent cut-off marks separately for each test in order to qualify for Phase II. Marks obtained in Phase I shall be used only for shortlisting the candidates for Phase II examination process and will not be counted for final selection of the candidates.

Pay Scale
The pay scale of Officers Grade 'A' in SEBI is Rs 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 (17 years) along with other benefits as admissible to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.
