JIPMER, Puducherry invites application for 53 posts of Professors, Assistant Professors and other for 2018

The Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research has invited application from candidates for 53 posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The break up of the posts will be as follows:

Eligibility Conditions

Educational Qualification
Aspiring candidates must possess a PG Degree, i.e. MD or a recognised qualification equivalent along with a post-doctoral qualification.

Age Limits
The age limits for various posts will be as follows:

For Professor and Additional Professor: Upper age limit should be 58 years as on October 26, 2018
For Associate Professor and Assistant Professor: Upper age limit should be of 50 years as on October 26.

Note: Candidates from the reserved category will get age relaxation as per the government norms.

Application Fees:

For General Category and OBC: Rs. 1,500 with other transaction charges as applicable.
For SC/ST: Rs. 1,200.
PwD: NIL

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the PI

Pay Scale:

For Professor: Rs 1.68 to 2.22 lakh with minimum pay Rs.1,68,900 per month with other allowances as admissible.
For Additional Professor: Rs.1.48 to Rs.2.11 lakh with minimum pay Rs.1,48,200 per month along with other allowances as admissible.
For Associate Professor: Rs.1.38 to Rs.2 lakh with minimum pay Rs. 1,38,300 per month with other allowances as admissible
For Assistant Professor: Rs.1 to Rs.1.67 lakh with minimum pay Rs. 1,01,500 per month and other allowances as admissible.
