163 infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) (Home and Hearth) Sikh Li will be organizing recruitment rally for Soldier (General Duty), at Ladakh Scouts regiments Center, Phyang from 21 Oct. 2019.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidate should be metric pass with minimum 45% Marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject or pass/qualified in higher class i.e. 12^th pass

Age Limit

• 18 to 42 years on the date of recruitment

Physical Parameters

• Height – 160cms (in case of Ladakhi it will be 157cms).
• Weight -50kgs (Minimum)
• Chest – 77cms with expansion 5cms.

Selection procedure

The selection procedure will be as follows:

• Physical Fitness Test – Physical fitness test of 1 mile run Ups, Zignag Balance and 9 feet ditch will be conducted.
• Medical Inspection – Should be medically fit. Short listed candidates shall undergo medical inspection.
• Written Examination – Candidates who qualify in the physical and medical examination will undergo written examination, the question paper of which would be bilingual (English and Hindi).

• 21^st and 22^nd October, 2019 – Leh
  23^rd October, 2019 – Kargil
• 24^th to 30^th October – verification of documents and Med exam for candidates
