SSC Stenographer Group C, D Exam notification 2020 released

The Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification for Stenographer Group C, D recruitment 2020 on its official website i.e ssc.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

How to apply for SSC Stenographer Group C and D Post?

Aspiring candidates can visit the official website of SSC and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.

Application fee:

Candidates who want to apply for the exam will have to pay Rs 100/- as application fees. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and ESM are exempted from payment of the fee.

Opening date of application      

• October 10, 2020

Closing date of application        

• November 4, 2020

Last date and time for making online fee payment November   

• November 6, 2020

Last date and time for generation of offline Challan      

• November 8, 2020

Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank)

• November 10, 2020

Dates of the Computer Based Examination        

• March 29 to March 31, 2021

Modes of Selection:

Candidates will have to clear a computer-based test followed by a skill test. All those candidates who will qualify for both, CBT and skill tests will have to appear for document verification.

SSC Steno Group C and D Paper pattern

There will be 200 questions carrying 200 marks. Questions will comprise three sections - general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, English language, and comprehension.
