Territorial Army has invited applications inviting gainfully employed young citizens for an opportunity of donning the uniform and serving the nation as Territorial Army Officers (Non-Departmental), based on the concept of enabling motivated young citizens to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions.

• Candidates must have done Graduation from any recognized University.

• 18 to 42 years

Territorial Army Recruitment 2021: How to apply?

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website, www.jointerritorialarmy.gov.in, and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.

Selection Procedure

• Stage 1- Candidates whose application forms are found correct will be called for screening by a Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) by the respective Territorial Army Group Headquarters.
• Stage 2- Candidates who have cleared Stage-1 will further undergo tests at a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection.
• Stage 3- Vacancies of male and female candidates will be determined as per organizational requirements

Pay Scale

• Lieutenant (Level-10) - Rs. 56,000 - 1,77,500
• Captain (Level-10) - Rs. 61,300 - 1,93,900
• Major (Level-11) - Rs. 69,400 - 2,07,200
• LT Colonel (Level-12A) - Rs. 1,21,200 - 2,12,400
• Colonel (Level-13) - Rs. 1,30,600 - 2,15,900
• Brigadier (Level-13A) - Rs. 1,39,600 - 2,17,600
