BA (Hons.) Drama or Bachelor of Arts Honors in Drama is an undergraduate Acting, Dance, and Drama course. The Honors degree in Drama is organized around four major topics that continue throughout all three years of the program: performance histories, creative theatre-making, performance texts, and performance in connection to culture. Each subject blends theory and practice, and you will be encouraged to investigate how these complementary disciplines relate to and affect each other throughout your study.

The Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Drama is meant to give students a solid foundation in all elements of practical theatrical production, including approaches to acting, directing, technical theatre, stage management, and design. Students learn research skills, dramatic and theatrical history and philosophy, reviews of dramatic literature and production techniques, dramaturgy, and vocational preparation for future employment.

  • Aspiring students must have passed their 10+2 examination or equivalent qualification from any recognized school board.
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent at their Bachelor's.
