B.A. Hons. Punjabi or Bachelor of Arts Honours in Punjabi is an undergraduate Punjabi language course. Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by inhabitants of the historical Punjab region (northwestern India and in northeastern Pakistan). In B.A. Hons. in Punjabi main emphasis is given on its origin, social aspects, literature, grammar, etc along with that how its literature developed with the contribution of many contemporary writers, poets, singers and by other cultural loving people. B.A. is generally three academic year degree course and it may be provided on a part-time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus of B.A. Hons. (Punjabi) is divided into six semesters.
