B.Pharm. (Unani) or Bachelor of Pharmacy in Unani is an undergraduate Pharmacy course. Unani Medicine also spelled Yunani Medicine means "Greek Medicine", and is a form of traditional medicine widely practiced in South Asia. It refers to a tradition of Graeco-Arabic medicine, which is based on the teachings of Greek physician Hippocrates, and Roman physician Galen, and developed in to an elaborate medical System by Arab and Persian physicians, such as Rhazes, Avicenna (Ibn Sena), Al-Zahrawi, Ibn Nafis. Pharmacy is the profession of compounding and dispensing medication. More recently, the term has come to include other services related to patient care including clinical practice, medication review, drug information, etc. The duration of the curse is three years and the syllabus for the course is divided into eight semesters.

B.Pharm. (Unani) Eligibility

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharma. is an undergraduate degree. To practice as a pharmacist you must possess this degree. It is also know with different names in other counties but in India it is known as B.Pharm. 
• One must have Bio, Maths and physics with 50% marks at 10+2 level or an equivalent examination.

• Pharmacists are also hired by state and central government departments in the field of Health and Welfare, the Pest Control Division of Agriculture, Provincial Research Councils, the Department of National Defence etc.
• A diploma or degree holder in Pharmacy can set up and run their own pharmacy or chemists and druggists shop after registering with the State Pharmacy Council.
• The discipline of pharmacy has a good future, offering wide range of employment opportunities with an excellent salary. Only with an undergraduate degree one may easily enter into pharmaceutical associated jobs as described below. However, one can take up teaching/research as a career with M.Pharma. and Ph.D. degree only.
