Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (D.H.L.S.) is a special practical oriented and Audiology course. The program is designed to generate manpower that will cater to the needs of individuals with communication disorders at the grass-root level. In this program, the students are trained to identify individuals with communication disorders and make appropriate referrals for further diagnosis. The students are also trained to supervise the caregivers in following the guidelines given by professionals for rehabilitation. Extensive practical training is given to supplement the theoretical knowledge that is imparted.
