Diploma in French is a Certificate level French language course.  French is a Romance language spoken as a first language in France, French-speaking Switzerland, Wallonia and Brussels in Belgium, Monaco, the regions of Quebec and Acadia in Canada, and by various communities elsewhere. The duration of Diploma in French is ranging from one academic year to three but it varies from institute to institute. The minimum number of marks required to pass the examination shall be as under:

40% marks in each theory paper i.e. Paper – A and Paper – B.

40% marks in Paper – C (Oral) and Paper-D (Internal assessment)

45% marks in aggregate.

50 marks for Internal Assessment be divided as follows: Each candidate takes at least three out of a total of five tests given during the academic session.
