Ph.D. Environment Studies or Doctor of Philosophy in Environment Studies is a Doctorate Environmental Science. Environmental Science is a study of the environment (surrounding) in a chemical, biological and physical context. It is also a higher study of pollution, energy conservation, climatic changes, plastic menace, biodiversity and global warming. Environmental Science is a combination of both social science and natural science. The duration of the course is three years and it is an important one that opens a lot of career scopes for them after its completion.
Ph.D. Environment Studies Eligibility
- Aspiring candidates should have passed M.Phil. Degree and a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a University or a recognized institution of higher training.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognized institution of higher learning and five years of teaching/industry/ administration/professional experience at senior level.
