MA Script Writing or Master of Arts in Script Writing is a Post-Graduate Film & TV program. The Master of Arts course in Script Writing is designed to give you the skills and understanding required to develop your Treatment for a feature film or equivalent television or radio script. The Master of Arts course in Script Writing is taught mostly with workshops, in which you present and discuss your own work with other students in a supportive environment.
The Master of Arts course in Script Writing will explore both theory and practice of dramatic writing, addressing contemporary critical debates, analyzing written and performance texts, and experimenting with a range of techniques in original writing. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the writing of a full-length feature film that is produced.
