M.A. Women's Studies or Master of Arts in Women’s Studies is a postgraduate Social Science course. Women's studies are an interdisciplinary academic field which explores politics, society and history from an intersectional, multicultural women's perspective. The curriculum comprising many areas such as Women’s movements, laws made for them, development programmes, research related to women topics, women’s political development and many other important topics attached to it. The duration of M.A. in Women's Studies is mostly of two academic years but it may vary from institute to institute. The syllabus is divided into four semesters.
