M.F.Sc Fisheries Economics or Master of Fisheries Science in Fisheries Economics is a two-year postgraduate degree program. This Fisheries Economics degree program focuses on the application of economic theory to the analysis of issues in the fisheries industry. The program is suitable for those candidates who have strong interests, responsibility and enough knowledge about seafood marketing and fishing industry management. The main purpose of this course to provide a thorough understanding of key topics in marine and fisheries economics. The various topics involve measurement of efficiency and capacity; bioeconomic modeling and their empirical applications; the management of marine and fisheries resources; and applications of non-market valuation in the marine environment.
