MSc (Forestry) or Master of Science in Forestry is a Post-Graduate Forestry and Wildlife course. Silviculture, seed technology, agro-forestry, tree physiology, tree genetics, tree breeding, tree tissue culture, forest management, wood science, wildlife, and other fields of research are covered in the Master of Science degree program.
Forestry is the science and art of managing tree resources, including plantations and natural stands. The primary purpose of forestry is to develop and implement systems that allow forests to continue providing environmental supplies and services in a sustainable manner. The College of Forestry offers a two-year curriculum with four semesters that includes chances for specialization in three forestry disciplines: Silviculture and Agroforestry, Tree Physiology and Breeding, and Wildlife Science. And it must be completed within two years.
