MSc Horticulture or Master of Science in Horticulture is a Post-Graduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Horticulture is the science, art, technology, and business of growing plants for human use. The Master of Science in Horticulture program typically lasts two academic years, however, this varies per institute. Horticulture is the study of plant cultivation that includes the preparation of soil for the planting of seeds, tubers, and cuttings. Plant propagation and cultivation, crop production, plant breeding, genetic engineering, plant biochemistry, and plant physiology are all areas in which horticulturists operate and study. Central Agricultural University is offering a two-year program. The course must be completed within two years. The Master of Science in Horticulture program is broken down into four semesters.
