M.Tech Bioelectronics or Master of Technology in Bioelectronics is a Post-Graduate Electronics Engineering course. Bioelectronics is concerned with the use of biological materials and processes in electronic devices, and the use of electronic devices in living systems. It includes medical electronics and medical devices. Also, bioelectronics defines the field of research that works to establish a synergy between electronics and biology.
The emerging field of Bioelectronics seeks to exploit biology in conjunction with electronics in a wider context encompassing, for example, biological fuel cells, bionics, and biomaterials for information processing, information storage, electronic components, and actuators. A key aspect is an interface between biological materials and micro-electronics and nano-electronics.
