M.Tech VLSI Design & Embedded System or Master of Technology in VLSI Design & Embedded System is a postgraduate VLSI Design course. The VLSI Design & Embedded System course will cover device & circuit concepts in VLSI Design with related VLSI tools and hardware, microcontroller, embedded systems, DSP processors and their applications.
The goal of the VLSI Design & Embedded Systems Group is to solve research, development, and design difficulties in VLSI circuits for embedded systems and ubiquitous computing applications and to advance their solutions. Embedded system design, power electronics, wireless networks, signal processing, biomedical electronics, electronic instrumentation, and audio and voice processing are among the disciplines covered.
The curriculum for the Master of Technology program in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems is geared toward VLSI system design (both front-end and back-end designs) and includes algorithms, Hardware Description Languages, System Architectures, Physical designs, Verification techniques, Simulation & Synthesis, Low power design techniques, and mixed-mode design methodologies. The VLSI Design & Embedded System course also covers advanced embedded microcontrollers, real-time embedded systems, advanced embedded system design, and systems on a chip, providing a strong foundation in embedded system design.
