Ph.D. History or Doctor of Philosophy in History is a Doctorate level History course. History is the study of written events and records of humanity. Ph.D. History Eligibility

  • Aspiring candidates should have passed an M.Phil. Degree and a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a University or a recognized institution of higher training; 
    or 
    Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognized institution of higher learning and five years of teaching/industry/administration/professional experience at senior level.
  • Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination for admission.
