Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2024 - Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Education Common Entrance Test acronym AP DEECET is conducted by the Department of School Education, Govt of A.P for providing admission to two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed) in Government District Institutes of Education & Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2024 Eligibility  

Educational Qualification 

• Aspiring candidates should have passed +2 or its equivalent with 50% aggregate marks.
• In the case of SC/ ST/ Physically challenged candidates they require 45% aggregate marks.

Note: Those candidates who have appeared for the qualifying exam can also apply for the exam.

Imp: The candidates who passed Intermediate with vocational courses are not eligible.

Age Limits

• The candidates should have completed 17 years as of 01-09-2021.
• There is no upper age limit.

Nationality

• Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
• The candidate should satisfy the Local/ Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in the A.P.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET consists of questions from the following subjects/topics.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET consists of two parts having objective multiple choice type of questions carrying 100 marks.

• Part - A (60 Marks)
• Part - B (40 Marks)

Note: The medium of Entrance Test: Question paper shall be in Telugu/ English or Urdu/ English and Tamil/ English only.
