TSDEECET 2024 - Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test acronym TS DEECET is conducted by the School Education Department of Telangana for providing admission to D.El.Ed course of all government DIETs, government elementary teacher education institutions, and Category 'A' seats of the Private Unaided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions of the state.

TSDEECET Exam 2024 Eligibility 

Educational Qualification

For all seats in all Government DIETs and Private Un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions:

• The candidate should have passed with 50% marks or appeared for the Intermediate Examination or its equivalent as decided by the TS DEECET Committee for appearing at the TSDEECET. 

Note: However, she/he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.

Imp: The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall, however, be 45%.

Age Limits

Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 1st September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed Programme.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
• The candidates should satisfy the Local / Non Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended from time to time.

TSDEECET Exam 2024 Syllabus

TSDEECET consists of questions from the topics given below:

TSDEECET Exam 2024 Pattern

TSDEECET will be an online test consisting of 100 Objective multiple choice type of questions carrying 1 mark each from the relevant subjects as given below:

• TSDEECET shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’, as per the medium opted by the candidate, in multiple sessions on the dates to be notified shortly.
• In the case of candidates opting for English Medium, Part II (b) of the Question Paper shall be either Telugu or Urdu as opted by the candidate in the online application.
• The subject and syllabi of Part III of the test shall be of the standard of Class X
• The Question paper Medium shall be the same as the Medium of D.El.Ed. opted for.
• The candidates who obtain qualifying marks as given at 5 (C) above shall only be assigned ranks as per the order of merit. In the case of SC and ST, all the candidates shall be assigned rank as per the order of merit.

TSDEECET Medium of Examination

The question paper shall be in the language opted by the candidates i.e., In Telugu / English / Urdu.

TS DEECET Qualifying Marks

Qualifying marks for various categories will be as follows:

Note: candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Communities should secure 35% of marks for consideration of seats under OC/ NCC / Defence Personnel or their children and spouses / Sports category.

TSDEECET Exam 2024 Fee

• The fee for submission of the application online and for appearing at TSDEECET Online is Rs. 450/-.
• Candidates shall pay the fee through the Payment Gateway provided on http://tsdeecet.cgg.gov.in and submit an online application at the TSDEECET website.

TSDEECET is normally held in the month of May/June.
