ASRB NET 2024 - Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ICAR) National Eligibility Test acronym as ASRB ICAR NET is conducted twice a year for selecting candidates for determining eligibility for Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs).

Aspiring candidates should have passed a master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject from a recognized university board.
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on the respective year of the exam.
A candidate must be either:
Reservations as per governmental norms are applicable regarding age limits and job vacancies
ASRB ICAR NET consists of questions from relevant qualifying subjects.

Note: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the NET examination.
The number of attempts for appearing in the National Eligibility Test Examination will be limited to FIVE for all candidates (whether M.Sc./Ph.D.) including the in-service candidates of I.C.A.R. However, this restriction will not apply to SC and ST candidates, who are otherwise eligible.
Note: The number of attempts made by the candidates prior to the National Eligibility Test Examination - 2020 will not be taken into account for counting the number of attempts made
Aspiring candidates can apply for ASRB ICAR NET Exam by visiting the official website of ASRB and following the instructions given there.
ASRB is usually held in the month of June and January.
The fee given below must be paid through a Crossed Bank Draft only drawn in favor of The Secretary, A.S.R.B, and payable in New Delhi with the application form.
Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Bank Draft. No other form of payment will be accepted by the Board.
