CIP Ranchi PG Entrance Exam 2022 – Central Institute of Psychiatry Post Graduate Entrance Exam acronym as CIP PG Entrance Exam is conducted by the Institute for admission to the following postgraduate degree/diploma courses of Ranchi University. The courses are:

CIP PG Entrance Exam for Ph.D. consists of questions from MA / M.Sc standard and the CIP PG Entrance Exam for M.Phill (PSW) will consist of questions from MA (Sociology / MSW) standard.
CIP PG Entrance Exam consists of a written test followed by Interview and Practical. The written exam will consist of 100 MCQs to be completed in 60 minutes' time.
How to apply for CIP Ranchi PG Entrance Exam 2022?
Aspiring candidates can apply for CIP PG Entrance Exam by submitting the application form electronically by internet to CIP Official website: www.cipranchi.nic.in and a hard copy of the same application form printed on A4 size bond paper complete in all respect along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- for Unreserved candidates and OBC Rs. 300/- for SC / ST candidates (non-refundable) in favor of Director CIP, Ranchi payable at Ranchi should reach:

Note: The hard copy of the application form should be duly signed by the candidate and his/her photograph pasted in an appropriate place. Incomplete applications not accompanied by Demand Draft, attested photocopies of all certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, Caste Certificate, Disability certificate if applicable or applications received after due date shall not be considered.
The admit card and a cover letter having necessary instructions will be made available on the CIP website. The admit card and the cover letter are to be downloaded and printed by the candidates and the same is to be brought with them to the examination center.
Reservation
15%, 7 ½%, and 27% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and OBC candidates respectively, subject to availability of such candidates. There shall also be a reservation of 3% horizontal reservation for physically-handicapped persons {only for locomotory disabilities of lower limbs between 50% to 70% or as per the Govt. of India Rules in this regard} subject to availability of such candidates. If suitable candidates are not available under the reserved categories, seats will be filled up by General category candidates. There is no reservation in Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology course.
Candidates who are seeking reservation benefits in the OBC category should submit a certificate.

CIP PG Entrance Exam is generally held during the month of April.
