Nationality

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university and equivalent.
• A candidate who has appeared in the final year of the degree exam and is awaiting the result is also eligible to take the exam.

• Aspiring candidates should be between 20 years to 25 years of age.

Paper I: General Studies

a. General Intelligence & Reasoning

b. General Knowledge & General Awareness

c. Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude

• It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal types.
• The test will include questions on analogies, similarities, and differences, space visualization problem-solving analysis judgment, decision making visual memory discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning verbal and figure classification arithmetical number series non-verbal series, etc.
• The test will also include questions designed to test the candidates' ability to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations, and other analytical functions.

• Questions will be aimed to test the candidate's general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society.
• Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of any educated person.
• The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General polity, and scientific research.

• The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate.
• The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, and the relationship between numbers, decimals and fractions, and relationships between numbers.
• It will test the sense of the order of magnitude, estimation, or prediction for the solution to real-life problems and knowledge of alternative computation procedures to find answers.

d. English Comprehension

• Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Verbal Ability, Synonyms-Antonyms, Active and Passive Voice, Para Jumbles, Fill in the Blanks, Error Correction

Paper-II English Language and Comprehension

The candidates will be mainly tested in:

• Simple and plain use of English Language and clarity of expression.

• Effective Communication skills in English with due economy of words.

• 800 meters race in 4 minutes.
• Long Jump: 2.7 meters ( 9 feet ) in 3 chances.
• High Jump: 0.9 meters ( 3 feet ) in 3 chances.
