HPCET 2024 - Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test acronym HPCET is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University for providing admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses in its affiliated institutes, Deemed to be Universities and Universities established under HP State Act.

Aspiring candidates should possess the following given qualification for the different courses he/she is indented to take admission:
For B.Tech Engineering & Technology (Direct Entry) |
For B.Pharm (Direct Entry) |
Aspiring candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology subjects securing at least 45% marks (40% in the case for candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. |
As per PCI Regulations-2014, a candidate must have passed a 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to a 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian University (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually. “However, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms-based schools such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States, etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharmacy Course. Age Limits: Candidates should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course. |
Note: Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Candidate must have a Recognized Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree obtaining at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). |
Aspiring candidates must have a recognized Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category) at the qualifying Examination. |
For MCA |

Candidates must have a recognized Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level securing at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category) at the qualifying Examination from a recognized University. |

Note: In case the Application Processing cum Test Fee is paid through e-challan/credit/debit card, the candidate is required to pay an additional processing charge if any as per the bank norms.
