HPCET 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

Aspiring candidates should possess the following given qualification for the different courses he/she is indented to take admission:

For B.Tech Engineering & Technology (Direct Entry)

For B.Pharm (Direct Entry)

Aspiring candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology subjects securing at least 45% marks (40% in the case for candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

As per PCI Regulations-2014, a candidate must have passed a 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to a 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian University (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually. “However, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms-based schools such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States, etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharmacy Course.

Age Limits: Candidates should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Note: Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is equivalent to any of the above examinations.

For B.Pharm (Ayurveda)

For M.Tech

Aspiring candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Candidate should have a Recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field obtaining at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.

For M.Pharmacy

For MBA

Candidate must have a Recognized Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree obtaining at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).

Aspiring candidates must have a recognized Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.

For MCA

Candidates must have a recognized Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level securing at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category) at the qualifying Examination from a recognized University.

 

HPCET 2024 Syllabus

The test will consist of a question from the following subjects/topics.

For M.Pharmacy

For MCA

The test will consist of questions from:

  • Aptitude
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence

The test will consist of a question from:

  • Verbal Ability
  • Quantitative Ability
  • Data Interpretation and Reasoning
  • General Knowledge and Computer Awareness

For MBA

The test will consist of questions from

  • Verbal Ability
  • Quantitative Ability
  • Data Interpretation and Reasoning
  • General Knowledge and Business Awareness

 

HPCET 2024 Pattern

  • HPCET for each course shall be conducted in a single offline (Pen and Paper Based Test) mode.
  • All questions shall be objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with a choice of four answers.
  • Each correct answer fetches 2 (two) marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 0.5 marks.
  • No marks shall be awarded for questions not attempted.
