MNSS Entrance Exam 2025 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

• Aspiring students should have passed a 4th class and 9th class as per their respective admission classes.

Age Limits

• For the 4th class, students' age should be between 08-10 yrs.

Note: The date of birth as recorded in the Board’s Examination Certificate will be accepted.

MNSS Entrance Exam 2025 Syllabus

For Class 4th

The Course for the Written Test for admission to class IV is based on the NCERT’s syllabus of class VIII.

• The subjects of tests including languages and the style of question papers may be changed within the limits of the prescribed syllabi.
• G.K. & Intelligence test paper will have in content a style by which intelligence, understanding, logic and reasoning aspects and mental faculty are assessed.

For Class 9th

• Written tests for admission to class XI will be of respective subjects/streams as per the CBSE syllabus of class X.
• The medium of writing an answer paper for admission to class XI will be ENGLISH only.

MNSS Entrance Exam 2025 Pattern 

• Motilal Nehru School of Sports Entrance Exam consists of a written test followed by physical efficiency test and a personal interview.
• The number of students called for the Physical Efficiency and Sports Aptitude Test will normally be three times the actual number of Written Examination.
• However, this test will be of qualifying nature only and the marks scored in this test will not count towards deciding the merit of the candidates.
• The Physical Efficiency and Sports Aptitude Test will be conducted at RAI only in the following format:

 For Class 4th

• 60-meter run
• Vertical Jump
• Standing Broad Jump
• Circuit Test

For Class 9th

• 60-meter run
• Vertical Jump
• Standing Broad Jump
• Circuit Test

Medical Examination and Interview

• For admission to classes 4ht & 6th, only those candidates who stand in the merit of the written test and qualify for the PESAT will be called for an interview and medical examination during the month of March 2021.
• All students prior to being finally selected for admission to the school are asked to be medically examined by a Medical Board according to the standard prescribed by the Special Board for the School.
• The final selection will be made on the basis of a merit list to be prepared at the end of all tests and interviews according to the policy of reservation of seats for different categories and selected candidates will be informed accordingly in the month of March.
• The school session for new entrants starts in April every year.
• Initially, all admissions will be made on a PROVISIONAL basis until the time that all cases are thoroughly scrutinized and facts regarding age, their parent's monthly income and place of residence have been verified to the satisfaction of the School Authorities.

How to apply for the Motilal Nehru School of Sports Entrance Exam 2025?

• Aspiring candidates can get the Application Form attached to the School Prospectus from the School Office by remitting Rs. 1000/- by demand draft drawn in favour of the Principal & Director, Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai payable at State Bank of India, MNSS, Rai (Branch Code No. 6838) or of any other nationalized Bank drawn on their Sonipat / Delhi Branch by Registered Post.
• S.C. candidates can obtain the School Prospectus by remitting Rs. 500/- (Rs. five hundred only) in cash from the school counter along with an S.C. certificate or by sending a bank draft of Rs. 600/- (Rs. six hundred only) along with S.C certificate by Registered Post.
• The complete Application Form for the Entrance Test will be received on all working days between 0900 hrs and 1300 hrs up to the last date.
• In case the application is not received by the due date the same will be received with a late fee of Rs. 500/- up to the last date as fixed and advertised in the newspapers. 

Documents to be attached with the Application Form are:

• Certificate of proof of date of birth.
• Recent Residence Certificate in the name of father/grandfather of the child if parents have mentioned in the Application Form that they are residents of Haryana. People from other states need not send this certificate. A residence certificate in the name of a child is not acceptable
• Any other certificate as per the requirement of the application form i.e. ESM / Defence Personnel / SC / OBC / Certificate of adoption.
• In the case of children from Haryana, the onus of submitting an authentic proof of the date of birth of the candidate and the certificate of residence shall rest with the parent(s) and if at any stage it is proved that the statements made by the parents regarding candidate’s date of birth and place of residence, school, class, domicile, category, etc. are wrong, the child shall be debarred from admission or discharged forthwith, if already admitted. Parents of all prospective candidates are, therefore forewarned about the implications of submitting false statements/certificates with a view to securing admissions for their wards.
• Passport size photographs (Name & Date written)-Four (duly attested by the Headmaster/Principal) out of which one should be affixed on the Application Form and three should be kept in an envelope attached with the Application Form on the first page. Photographs of the child should have been taken on or after the due date.
• Late Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) by Bank Draft drawn on the State Bank of India, Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai (Branch code No. 6838) and payable to Principal & Director, MNSS, Rai in case the last date has expired and last date of receipt of Application Form with late fee is in process.

• The Application Fee for MNSS Entrance Exam is Rs. 1000/-
• However, S.C candidates can obtain the School Prospectus by remitting Rs. 500/- (Rs. five hundred only) in cash from the school counter along with an S.C certificate or by sending a bank draft of Rs. 600/- (Rs. six hundred only).
