SSC Stenographer Exam 2024 - Staff Selection Commission Stenographer Exam acronym as SSC Stenographer Exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for Stenographer posts (Grade C and D) in various departments of various Ministries/ Departments/Organizations in the Government of India. It is an open competitive Computer Based Examination. The SSC jobs are in demand due to the work overload of government activities. The pattern of the SSC exam comprises 3 parts with 200 MCQs in total.
The medium of the SSC exam will be both in English and Hindi.
The duration of the exam 2 hours and 40 minutes extra are given to the candidates who are using the scribe.

Note: There is a negative marking (0.25) for each wrong response.
Imp: The marks obtained by candidates in the Computer Based Examinations will be normalized and the very scores will be used to determine final merit.
Skill Test in Stenography
There will be a Skill Test in Stenography for all candidates.
Applicants will be given 10 minutes for dictation in English/ Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

SSC Stenographer Exam 2024 Dates
SSC exam is going to be held in the month of March.
Aspiring candidates can apply online only at the official website of SSC i.e., https://ssc.nic.in, and follow the instructions given there.
The fee for the SSC exam is Rs. 100/- Candidates can pay the exam fee through the following means such as SBI Challan, SBI Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit card.
Note: All female candidates and Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with disability (PwD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.
