ABES Engineering College is a leading professional Academy of Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year 2000. It is spread over an area of 15.2 Acres. The Courses offered by ABES Engineering College are approved by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. ABES Engineering College offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and B.Tech. level courses in five branches of engineering.

Facilities

Hostels - Separate Hostel facilities are available for Boys and Girls. The number of Seats in Boys Hostel is 800 and the number of Seats in Girls Hostel is 380.

Library - It is located at the basement of Bhabha Block and it is fully Air Conditioned. The Library collection consists of 42,975 books. It subscribes to 241 E- Journals & 71 Printed Journals. The seating capacity of Library Reading Room is 157. Library Reference room connected with DELNET. It subscribes to more than 30 magazines. IEEE & ACME Transactions and conference   proceedings are made available to encourage students to pursue research activities. There is also the facility of Internet in the library along with Xerox facility. The Library maintains a separate reference collection consisting of Encyclopaedia, Dictionary, Handbook, Technical Data, CD-ROM, Video-cassettes & one copy of the each book in the Reference Section. The reference section also houses Video collections consisting of more than 148 video cassettes and CDs. The Library facility is available to the students & faculty of the institute from 9.30 a.m. to 6p.m. on all working days.

Computer Lab - There are 15 Computer Labs with 24X7 Internet Connectivity.
All PC's connected through LAN and Wi fi connectivity is available. The Speed of Internet Connectivity is 10 Mbps. The Lab has 186 titles of Multimedia Literature. There are 800 number of PCs in Computer Centre. All PC's are PIV and above.

Mechanical Workshops - There are 8 Mechanical Workshops in the College.

Lecture Rooms - The College has 50 Lecture rooms which can accommodate 2000 students.

Conference Hall - The Institute has 2 Conference Halls.

Seminar Hall - The College has 3 Seminar Halls with capacity of accommodating 500 people.

Training Cell - The primary activities of the Training Cell are organizing Summer Training and providing a Final Placement for students after completing the respective program. The education of the budding managers is incomplete without exposure of real working environment.

Activities:

• Training Cell organizes 6 to 8 weeks Training for student at the end of semester in post graduate programme, by placing summer training letter to various companies & after confirmation of training, student complete their training and submit their report about what they have done. Similarly Summer Training programming for the under graduate student begins after completion of second semester.

• The Training activity covers Pre-Training cum Placement Talk, Summer Training and Final Placement. The Cell consists of the students from B.Tech., MBA and MCA programs who work under the supervision of the placement officers. This Placement Cell identifies and maintains the company databases and organizes guest lectures, seminars and campus interviews.

• Pre-training talks provide an opportunity to the corporate world to recruit the prospective young professionals both for the summer and final placement. Organizations make presentations about the job description, remuneration package, scope of growth etc.

• The students are given an opportunity to test out the theoretical concepts learnt in the classroom. The summer project gives an insight into the working of a real organization. This also helps students explore career opportunities in the areas of their interest and develop a realistic managerial prospective about organizations in their totality.

Placement Cell - The students of ABES are required to participate in mock interview and personality development workshops that focus on confidence-building, written and oral communication, and leadership qualities. The Placement Cell achieves these through providing multiple opportunities to students to express themselves and present in a group. At the end of each session, the members of the cell inform students constructive feedback and monitor the growth and development of each student so that consequently, the students are capable of taking an initiative in any situation which would prove an asset to any organization or venture that they are associated with as professional. In addition, the Placement Cell organizes industrial visits and industrial training for the students. All these activities tremendously enhanced the professional abilities of students and enable them to acquire jobs with best employers in the professional world. Through these activities student gain tremendous exposure and practical knowledge. Further the Cell is engaged in networking with the best companies and organizations in the professional world, and invites them to ABES for holding campus interviews to ensure that students are recruited easily. Some of the Companies which have employed students of the Institute are Adani Exports, Air Sahara, AVL India Software, BEL, BHEL, C-DOT, Continuum IT, CRIS, Escorts Ltd., Eureka Forbes etc.

• MCA & Several Branches of B.Tech. such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Information Technology have been accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation) for 3 years, vide Letter No. NBA/ACCR-1035/08 dated July 19th, 2008.

• The Institute is also certified by ISO 9001:2000.
