Shri Siddhi Vinayak Institute of Technology (SSVIT) was set up in 2009 by Shri Siddhi Vinyak Trust, Bareily on “ No Profit ” basis. It is one of the Premier Institutions in the field of technical education. The College complex is spread over 25 acres of the land which houses Administrative Block, Teaching Department, Lecture Halls, Tutorial Classes, Laboratories, Boy’s & Girls Hostels and a College Canteen. The Institute is approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University.

Location - SSVIT is situated at Dohna on Bareilly Nainital Highway approximately 8 km from the Centre.

Facilities

Library - The Institute Library is well stocked with a collection of more then 8,000 volumes on various topics running in 14,000 Titles that include text books and books for supplementary reading. It has seating capacity of 200 students. The Library subscribes to National & International Journals & Magazines and has the latest education of Encyclopaedia, General books, Dictionaries, Thesauruses etc. The Library itself has 8 terminals to provide instant Internet Access. Electronics display & Xerox facilities are also available to the students. Standard text book and books by well known authors are stocked, and every effort has been made to obtain all Titles recommended by the Faculty. Multiple copies of are books brought to make them available to as many students as possible.

Student Counsellors - Every 30 students will be having a Counsellor who will be responsible for all the Academic Activities of the student. Counsellors would guide the students with regard to their academic problems as well as their attendance and its record.

Training, Development and Placement Cell - The Institution is having a full fledged Training, Development and Placement Cell headed by a Professor rank person and assisted by faculty coordinators and student members. Training, Development and Placement Cell organizes expert lectures, industrial tour, aptitude tests, mock interviews, group discussions and other such activities to upgrade the knowledge and skill of the students and for all round personality development.

Scholarships - Scholarships are awarded in recognition of achievement in Academic areas. Merits are duly honoured with proper recognition.

Following Prizes for rewarding such student is devised by the management in the interest to encourage the scholars:

• Student seeking admission to SSVIT obtaining more then 90% marks will be given a prize of 25,000 & those getting 85% or more but less than 90% shall be eligible for a prize of Rs.15000/-.

Student getting ranks in the semester end examination will get a prize of:

• Rs. 51,000/- for 1st Rank.
• Rs.41,000/- for 2nd Rank.
• Rs. 31,000/- for 3rd Rank.

Education Loan - Most of the Banks offer Education Loan to students on attractive terms, Student seeking admission in SSVIT, for their academic prospects, Loan Facility will be made available through Punjab National Bank on their request.

Sports - The Institute provides various Indoor and Outdoor Games Facilities.
