Facilities

Hostel Facility – The JIT provides separate, fully furnished hostel for girls and boys. All the twin sharing living rooms are facilitated with cross ventilation and well- furnished attached bathroom. Each hostel has a common living room and a proper reception. Hostel Activity Centre (HAC) arranges various activities and events on day to day basis for the recreation of the residents.

Transportation - JIT has a fleet of buses plying for students and for its faculty covering almost the entire city at nominal charges.

Library – The institute library has a collection of 1274 Titles, 6704 volumes, 101 Journals and301 DELNET documents as of 2012. Developing Library Network (DELNET) is available in JIT. DELNET is worldwide network and it connects more than 1900 libraries of different Indian states and of other countries as well. Students can thus access more than 10 millions of bibliographic records of book, journals and other literature. DELNET also offers inter library loans and document delivery service to the members.

Internet – It is facilitated with 3 MBPS dedicated internet connectivity with campus wide Wi-Fi.

Mess – The institute provides mess facility which is located within the locales of the respective hostels.

Scholarships – JIT offers scholarships to meritorious students.

Canteen – There are different canteens in the institute. These benefit the students in two ways – they can relax and enjoy plus they get a hands-on experience on entrepreneurial ventures. This is because they have to manage these eating joints independently and sometimes under guidance.

Fests - Zebronic is the annual national level festival of JIT College. It is a technical-cum-cultural symposium in which top technical colleges from across the country participate every year. It provides an opportunity to co-ordinate as teams and work towards a common cause. The institute also organizes its annual function - RAYS every year.

Student Clubs – To stimulate the overall development of students towards imagination, inventiveness & virtuosity, there are a number of students clubs. Students are guided by the faculty whenever required.
