About Rajasthan Technical University - RTU
Rajasthan Technical University was set up in 2005 by Govt. of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in Rajasthan. The university aims to cater almost all discipline related to technical education in Rajasthan. At present 60 Engineering Colleges, 8 M.Tech Colleges, 21 MCA Colleges, 69 MBA Colleges and 3 Hotel Management and Catering Institute are affiliated to the University. Rajasthan Technical University Kota conducts RPET (Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test), RMAT and RAMCAAT annually to admit new students in its different academic programs. Apart from the technical courses, post graduate programmes in management are also conducted by the RTU Kota. Part time courses are run for employed students.
Location and Transportation - The university is situated on Kota-Rawatbhata Road, about 10 Km from Kota Bus Stand and 14 Kms from Kota Railway Station. Kota is the education city of Rajasthan. Kota is well connected by Road and Railway. It is situated on National Highway 12, about 350 Km from Jaipur. Kota is situated on Delhi-Mumbai Broad-gauge about 450 Km from Delhi.

Library - It has facilities of networking and e-journal
Laboratories - These are equipped with all modern equipments.
Computer Centre - It has all the necessary hardware and software. The college has entered into alliances with Microsoft & Oracle. Under these alliances college is receiving almost all the Products of both the Software manufacturer.
Internet Network - The entire campus is integrated with a 1 Gbps fiber backbone. The total fiber length is 1.5 KM approximately. The total nodes are approximately 600.
Hostels - Four hostels are available for the boys while one for girls.
