Amritha Educational & Cultural Society (AE & CS) was established in 1982 and it is today among the leading educational societies in the State. The AECS Maaruti College of Dental Science & Research Centre is considered to be one of the most important medical institutions in Karnataka. The college is situated in the city of Bangalore. It is recognized by Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Services, Govt. of India, New Delhi. and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.

Sri.R.Venkatesh (Secretary and Treasurer) founded ECS Maaruti dental college in 1992. A sprawling campus, a building with style exclusively built for teaching dentistry by architects of international repute, state of the art equipments, experienced and dedicated faculty are the most appealing features of the Centre. The Maaruti College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre aims at a healthy integration of both Eastern and Western dental health sciences to enable the human kind to live a full span of their lives provided by God in perfect health.

Location - The campus is located at BTM layout VIth stage Ist phase. It is 10 kms. from Jayanagar Shopping Complex on Bannerghatta road. It is 1 km. on Kammnahalli main road opposite Sri Meenakshi Sundareswara temple. The college campus is easy to locate as it overlooks a natural lake and a hillock.

Facilities

Hostels - We have separate boys and girls hostel with mess facilities. The hostels are located inside the campus for the safety of the students and the mess is hygienically maintained to serve healthy and tasty food. Separate accommodation is provided in the college campus for parents who visit their children. This facility can be utilized by getting prior confirmation from the office of the institution

Library - The college has a spacious and well-stocked library. The computerized library with Internet facilities and CD-ROMS on dental topics, lectures of eminent doctors, reports of diagnoses and discoveries make information available at the fingertips of the students. There is a complete stock of international journals on dentistry and dental newsletters besides a database in the making on dental ailments handled by the college.

Laboratory - The modern laboratory with sophisticated equipment for clinical, pre-clinical and basic sciences makes learning a pleasure. Students can use the laboratory facilities to work on their own projects. There is a fully functional outpatient department with 20 units for the benefit of the students. State of the art equipment such as Intra Oral Camera, Radio Visual Graphy, Orthopantomograph is being installed at the college to give the students a feel of the first world ambience as they enter the portals of clinical learning.

Lecture Hall - Cool airy lecture halls with audio visual aids enable students to study in an embience that is calm and at the same time promote learning. The lecture halls overlook the sylvan settings with fresh flow of breeze from the adjoining lake.
