Students must also be firmly educated as responsible citizens, concerned with the impact of their work on society. It has been the conviction of I PT.

Our Objective : To enable students:

• To understand and develop skills in Information Technology and maintaining the Computer Aided and controlled equipments and    devices used in printing.
• To understand and handle various printing machines, equipments and devices.
• To understand physical and chemical properties of materials involved in Printing processes.
• To develop research aptitude as well as participating in technical reporting and communication skill.
• To read drawings of machine components, to understand the machine design and to experience the printing requirements.
• To organize and manage effectively and economically the different departments of commercial printing units.
• To develop quality consciousness.
• To develop business oriented skills.
• To develop self-employment culture.

Our Goals:

A) The knowledge goal: "To strengthen the intellectual side of personality"

     Activities and programmes

• Teaching and learning process is planned property.
• Evaluation process is carried out systematically.
• Seminars, workshops, surveys, study tours, competitions are organized periodically.
• Audio-Visual aids are used wherever necessary.
• Lectures of subject experts are arranged periodically.
• Classes are arranged to enhance competence in Spoken English.
• Senior students undertake meaningful projects.
• Industrial interactions are encouraged through in-plant training, periodic tours and personal interactions.

B) Moral Goals: "To enable the students to cultivate certain moral values"

•  Guest lectures are organised.
•  Debate on "Printing Topics" are organised.
•  Organisation of Group discussion and open discussions.
•  Individual guidance is provided wherever necessary.

C) Social Goals:

• 'Printers Day' is celebrated.
• Blood Donation camps are organised occasionally.
• Students and staff members collect aid funds on the occasions of natural disasters, personal ill being and social disturbances
• Students are encouraged for active participation in social activities and functions.
• The Institute campus is maintained neat and tidy with participation of students and staffs.
