About Mangala College of Para Medical Sciences

Mangala College of Para Medical Sciences under the management of Mangala Charitable Trust(R), Mangalore is situated at Nayaks Building, Nandigudda, Jeppu, Mangalore – 575002, a place well connected by bus routes to all destinations. 

Mangala Hospital (previously known as Mangala Nursing Home) the parent institution, established in the year 1988 has now developed as a 100 bedded Multi-specialty Hospital, which caters patients from cross section of the socio-economic stratum by providing latest high-tech equipments handled by Professionals.

Vision 

Mangala College of Para Medical Sciences was established in the year 2004. The course outline and the syllabus are designed by the Para Medical Board, Government of Karnataka. The fundamental idea behind is to develop and mould the students as successful individuals to get a job not only in India but also abroad. The course provides a comprehensive idea, principle, and practices of various para medical procedures.

 The management of Mangala Charitable Trust ® believes that para medical course is a formal education preparation, which should provide a broad and sound foundation for the practice of para medical service that is to be practised and propagated irrespective of the sex, religion, caste, and creed. The courses are designed to provide a balance of professional and general education, and to enable students become professional para medical technicians. Special training in para medical sciences including Dialysis Technology and Ophthalmic Technology Course has been introduced first in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts. Ours is the fourth college offering such courses in Karnataka state. 

Mission 

The Para Medical Courses together with the Nursing Courses offered by Mangala Charitable Trust contribute not only towards divers health needs of the local people, but also caters to qualify patient care as well as towards preparing quality health care personnel for the entire country and abroad. These courses are designed to provide a balance of professional and general education and to enable students become para medical technicians and professional nurses.
