With tremendous growth in textiles especially ready-made Garments (RMG) sector with whopping investments of about Rs 50000 crore & above The worth of Designer labels like – Armani, Van Heusen, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Lewis, Raymands, Peter England etc in the world is (ASSOCHAM) 1,62,900 crores and   India accounts only 0.2%. Find a need and feed it is the mantra of KLE- Society  - It seized the opportunity to start a fashion Course (Degree) in Belgaum. With the changing life styles and booming middle class spending on clothes. It is sure to serve the regional interest and would create a new avenue of employment and entrepreneurship to our girl students.  Institute offers three-year degree course in Fashion Technology and Apparel Design & is Exclusively for Women. It is affiliated to Karnataka State Women University-Bijapur. And has the sanction of Govt of Karnataka.

• Degree Awarded:  BFT (Bachelor of Fashion Technology)
• Course Duration: Three Years (6 semesters)
• Intake per year 40 students. In the months of April/May every year
• Affiliated to Karnataka State Women’s University Bijapur

Eligibility for Admission:-

• Pass in second year (PUC-II) in Science/Arts/Commerce.OR
• Pass in Govt recognized JOC OR
• Pass in any three year diploma under DTE
• Lateral admission Direct to 2nd year after Gov recognized Diploma in Fashion Technology/Handloom technology/Textile Technology.
