Nandlal Prabhu Devi Professional Institute Barabanki has been established with a clear vision to educate and infuse excellent Lab Technician and Pharmacist qualities in the candidates seeking admission in this college.

To achieve this, very qualified, sincere, dedicated and committed faculty has been recruited. Necessary infrastructure has been created and other required facilities have been provided. Special attention will be addressed. Special efforts will be made to motivate the student to attend 100% classes regularly, do their class and homework daily and infuse in them the habit of hard work and disciplined living. With my rich experience in the education sector, I am confident that NLPD will produce excellent Lab Technician and Pharmacist. I hope with God’s blessing, sustained hard work of students and generous inputs from the management, NLPD will be able to provide the country and to the whole world future responsible leader with excellent technical knowledge for the betterment of the world.

NLPD Educational Trust came into being in the year 2017. The trust wishes to establish a premier institute of medical science along with its already existing & functional educational branches of pharmacy. The students on the role are highly motivated & focused to achieve their goals in quality learning system provide for excellence in life.

Central library

The college library has a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include:

• Books including for particular topic or subjects as well as reference books like dictionaries, encyclopedias book, etc.

Seminar Hall

• The Institute possesses a Seminar hall with a seating capacity of 250 peoples. The hall plays host to guest lecturers, seminars and various presentations.

Classrooms

• All the classrooms are spaciously designed and are well furnished with necessary technical teaching aids like projectors.

Computer facilities

• Keeping in view the increased emphasis on technology, the innovative college has developed a computer with a broadband connection, the lab is equipped with a sufficient number of computers with the latest configuration and software’s, in addition, we also have our internet facility through local ISP. Wi-Fi facility is also available.

Sports facilities

• A centrally located indoor playground is being developed to provide facilities for all indoor games, such as table tennis, badminton, carom, and chess. The campus has also been facilitated with a widespread outdoor area for cricket, volleyball, and football.

Museum

• The college possesses a museum exhibiting more than 100 crude drugs, herbarium sheets, botanical specimens & charts of drugs & plants, colored slides of medical plants, patent medicines & containers of common usage in medicines.

Transportation

• Deluxe buses are available for students to provide them better & comfortable conveyance facilities for each corner of the city. AC buses are also available for the staff.

• Our campus is located in a very secure location. The college has security guarding in its entire campus.

Hostel

• Separate in house hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. All hostels have been amenities like a common room, indoor games, cafeteria, medical facility & security arrangements. We also have enough capacity to accommodate all desiring students.

Laboratories

• Well equipped laboratories with latest tools and equipment as per the AKTU/AICTE/PCI norms & syllabus are the core academic infrastructure of the institute.

• Students & faculty are free to access the internet. This helps the students to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums & seminars. The access speed enables the students and staff to download & upload files at a fast rate.

The college campus is fully equipped with many facilities for extracurricular activities including indoor and outdoor sports. The institute provides great conferencing facilities with various seminar halls. NLPD Institute has a State of the Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of 250 hundred plus for cultural, extracurricular & co-curricular activities.

Computer labs are well equipped with the latest systems. Libraries are stocked with more than 10,000 books and hundreds of national & international journals. The Workshop and Engineering labs are unmatched in the region. Equipped with the most modern equipment, the facilities encourage students to pursue path-breaking innovations. The library also provides access to National & International online journals.

It is not surprising that one of our students created a breakthrough device, which can drastically reduce vehicle theft and applied for India patent of the same.

We have in campus separate Hostel facility for Boys and Girls with most modern amenities. For day scholars the Institute has a fleet of most modern and comfortable buses that travel to all corners of NLPD Institute, Alapur, Barabanki

College is continuously upgrading its infrastructure and equipment. In fact, it’s the fundamental goal to provide students all the facilities to acquire skills necessary for a well-trained pharmacist.

Scholarships

Scholarship for our students is provided by the UP Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement through Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, Uttar Pradesh.
