Agriculture in India is the pivotal sector for ensuring food and nutritional security, sustainable development, and alleviation of poverty. It is the key sector for generating employment opportunities for the vast majority of the population. Swami Shri Prannath Parnami Agriculture College was established in 2011 by Shri Krishna Vidyalya Prabandhak Samiti to revolutionize the region's agriculture landscape by training human resources as well as farmers. Swami Shri Prannath Parnami Agriculture College was founded with this intent, to meet the requirements of rural youth towards higher education. It aims to evolve the Agriculture sector of the region by providing education and knowledge to young minds.
