Kundang Lem is a North Eastern Tribal festival of India celebrated in the state of Nagaland. It is primarily one of the six annual festivals of Chang Community festival and it is one amongst the three annual festivals monitored by Haongang Clan in Nagaland. Kundanglum is a five-day festival observed in the eighth month of the Chang calendar which means in April as per Gregorian calendar. Each of the five days has a fixed activity assigned to it. The first three days are spent collecting the construction material for field huts in the Jhum cultivated area. On the fourth day this material is tested and on the fifth day this material is used to collectively construct huts in the fields.
