DU Undergraduate Admissions 2011 from June 15

New Delhi: June 15, 2011 is finally the date when the country's most prestigious Delhi University (DU) will announce their first cut off list of different colleges for their undergraduate admissions 2011.

For students aspiring to get into Delhi University, they will now get four days to take admission after the announcement of the cut off list which used to be three days earlier.

Last year, the first cut-off list was announced on June 22. Since colleges now have an extra week, they will now get more time to declare subsequent cut-off lists.

The university had declared a drastically new admission policy on April 12, under which pre-admission forms were dispensed with. Earlier, the university would begin the sale of forms on June 1.

All colleges, other than St. Stephen's College, will follow the new admission guidelines and schedule.

On the other hand, St. Stephen's will sell pre-admission forms like always. Reverend Valson Thanpu, principal of St. Stephen's College said that the admission forms of the college will go on sale on May 25 and the last date for form submission is June 13. The interview list will come out on June 16, with the interviews starting from June 20.
